Balsa Wood Bridge Project
I recently did a Balsa wood bridge project, where students were required to make a small scale model bridge out of Balsa wood, once the bridges were made, they were tested to see their weight, and then tested the bridge's efficiency.
The Equation that was used to find out the Bridge's effciency was Weight of the Load/Weight of the Bridge.
My Bridges Weight was 15.3, and the amount it carried was 3850, so the Equation would look like 3850/15.3
In turn, my Bridge's Effciency ended up being 253.36 (Or something close to this) Pretty good for a bridge thats very light.
1. I would change the top right and left coners, they were the main fault of my bridge
2. Like I said before the top right and left coners, they broke rather easily and didn't do much to help
3. of course, the top left and right coners.
Here you'll see a picture of the bridge, after testing.

West Point Bridge Design
Using a program called "West Point Bridge Design" we made bridges and then tested then in a virtual simulator, to see wether or not the bridge would be able to support itself, and a moving a truck. it showed weak points on the bridge, the strong points, and it showed the bridge collapsing if it happened

Here you can see one of the bridges I had made, using an arch design, it managed to hold up itself, and a truck. I did not break, and the design was rather simple.

Using the same Design, i just simply made the bridge start from a lower height, instead of the 24 meteres show above, this one I beleive is 14 meters.
